Primary Education

I have been carrying out environmental education in schools in rural Paraguay since 2014. In 2014 and 2015 I worked with three primary schools in Pedro Jimenez, San Pedro. These lessons focused on broad environmental messages.
From 2016 until present I have acted as a guest instructor for the Para La Tierra Arboles de Laguna Blanca and Voces de la Naturaleza Eco-Clubs.
In 2018 I began an ongoing program of primate conservation focused participatory education in 25 (indigenous and non-indigenous)schools in communities that border Área para Parque San Rafael.

I developed and run the Para La Tierra Primatology and Primate Conservation Online Course.
In 2018 I designed and carried out a week long training course for Paraguayan forest guards in primate conservation and environmental education.
I am a member of, and supporter of the development of, the interest group Ka'i Paraguay. This regional fledgling primatological society was created in 2019 following the 1st Paraguayan Zoology Conference in Asunción. Its members are mainly students interested in primates and looking for ways to learn more about primate conservation and promote the development of primatology in Paraguay.
